- We specialise in performing analyses of pressure equipment such as tanks, housings and exchangers. We perform them in accordance with the PED 2014/68/EU directive and the following standards: PN-EN 13445, AD 2000-Merkblatt, ASME Sec. VIII, PN-EN 14276, PN-EN 12953, PD5500, API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 and others.
- We ensure precision and safety through comprehensive calculations and analyses that guarantee the reliability and compliance of your equipment with all requirements.
- We use a Design by Analysis (DBA) approach using the finite element method (FEM) and Design by Formula (DBF) using dedicated PVElite or VVD software.
Strength analyses of pressure equipment
- We perform comprehensive strength analyses for a variety of operating conditions for pressure equipment.
- Our calculations cover design conditions, pressure tests, lifting and exceptional situations.
- We take into account all relevant loads: from dead weight, pressure and temperature, to loads from installations, wind, snow and seismic effects
- Thanks to advanced calculation methods, we identify critical areas of the structure and ensure full compliance with standards and operational safety.
Fatigue analysis of pressure equipment
- We perform advanced fatigue analyses for critical areas of pressure equipment, with particular emphasis on welds and bolted joints.
- Our calculations allow us to precisely determine the permissible number of operating cycles of the equipment to assess long‑term operation and safety margin.
- All analyses are performed in accordance with the requirements of relevant standards, such as PN-EN 13445-3, ASME VIII and AD 2000, guaranteeing full compliance with international safety standards.
Analysis of pressure equipment for instability
- We specialise in buckling and crushing analyses of structures, which are crucial for ensuring the safety of pressure equipment.
- Our calculations focus on checking the strength of tank shells exposed to internal negative pressure and load-bearing elements (supports) subjected to loads from their own weight and lateral forces.
- Thanks to advanced calculation methods, we identify potential hazards and propose optimal structural solutions
Analysis of pressure equipment under creep conditions
- We specialise in strength analyses of equipment operating at high temperatures (above 400°C), where it is crucial to check the creep resistance of the material.
- Our calculations take into account long-term thermal and mechanical loads, as well as material degradation over time.
- Thanks to advanced calculation models, we are able to precisely determine the service life of components and the safe operating time of equipment operating in extreme temperature conditions

Calculations using the DBF method
- We perform calculations using dedicated PV Elite or VVD software from Hexagon.
- The DBF (Design by Formula) method uses formulas contained in standards to check individual components for strength and fatigue
- This is an ideal solution for standard pressure vessels and exchangers without unusual components.
Fitness For Service assessment
- In the case of equipment with significant corrosion damage, we assess its condition in terms of safety for further operation using the Fitness For Service (FFS) methodology, e.g. according to the API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 standard.
- We assess whether the equipment can continue operating safely despite local damage.
